Housing Service

Housing is the cornerstone of independent living. Without an accessible home disabled people have greater difficulty in accessing education, employment, social and recreational activities.

Disabled people who live, or would like to live in Glasgow can contact us for support.

Our housing team provide advice and information on accessible housing options in Glasgow. The housing team provides appointments with our housing advisor, and can provide letters of support for housing association applications.

GCIL’s housing team works alongside housing associations to ensure that accessible housing is prioritised for those who need it most. GCIL is sometimes asked to nominate some of our supported people for accessible homes which become available, giving them priority in these cases.
